REv. Ken Brown, Senior Pastor

Rev. Ken Brown is recognized as a visionary pastor in large church settings, with three decades of experience. Previously, he served as the Senior Pastor of Broomfield United Methodist Church, a 2000+ member/constituent community. Broomfield United Methodist Church has active ministries throughout the year in Romania, Kenya, India, and Haiti. It is singular for its deployment of volunteers in the region and awarded for high participation rates by its partners.

Rev. Brown is a second career pastor, previously serving as a Marketing Director for a real estate development company. He earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Earning his Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School at Duke University, Rev. Brown is ordained for ministry in the United Methodist Church.

He is highly respected for his effectiveness to establish networks and successful pastorates in North Carolina, Florida, and Colorado. Rev. Brown is an executive advisor to Hope House of Colorado, A Precious Child, and CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties.

As a nationally regarded small group ministry expert, Rev. Brown’s innovations with discipleship have been published in Net Results, Circuit Rider, and Leader in Christian Education.

Rev. Brown enjoys hiking, fly-fishing and annually climbing a 14'er. He resides in the Denver metro area. He has four phenomenal adult daughters and one glorious grandson.

Deb Meyer, Director of Servant Ministries

Debra is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her background includes working in churches, non-profits, and grassroots initiatives supporting individuals and groups to identify and offer their gifts and strengths in meaningful engagements. She has facilitated faith leaders collaborating together to serve the Broomfield, CO community since moving back to Colorado in 2010 while working as a realtor along the front range. Deb especially enjoys Colorado summers and Denver’s weekend festivals, outdoor concerts and patio dining. She graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary’s Orlando campus with a Master of Divinity. Deb is the mother of two adult children along with their spouses and adores her two grandchildren.

Mary Soroka, Executive Ministry ASsistant

Mary Soroka is a Colorado native who enjoys camping and fishing with her husband, three children, and one rambunctious dog. She has embraced Trinity UMC as her home church for the last 18 years, participating in the music and arts program with the Chancel Choir, Chamber Choir, Women’s Choir, and Flute Choir. She also serves the Colorado Repertory Singers as a vocalist and VP of Marketing. Mary’s passions include reading, writing, and crafting, but her greatest calling is to serve God and community. As a former staff member at Trinity and Broomfield UMC, she is excited to begin the next chapter with you.
