Youth Ministries at Trinity is a welcoming environment for youth in grades 6-12 to grow in their faith, ask questions, encourage one another, and reach out in service together.
Spiritual growth is the most important aspect of Youth Ministries as we grow in faith together on our spiritual journey. Sunday School classes, youth group, retreats, camp, and mission trips are all key to spiritual growth as we each experience God in different ways. Fellowship, service, and ministry are areas in which you will find the youth involved as well. Youth volunteer at Vacation Bible School, host a Valentine's party at the Olin Hotel, serve an Easter pancake breakfast, sing in the Youth Choir, and play in the Youth Bell Choir. They also plan and lead Youth Sunday each fall.
9:30 a.m. Sunday school is a welcoming place to join with youth your own age to ask questions, discover how truly amazing God is, be encouraged to be yourself and to grow in your faith. All youth meet together on the third Sunday of the month for Burrito Breakfast Sunday.
Middle School (Grades 6–8) youth meet in Room 116.
Senior High (Grades 9–12) youth meet in Room 117.
Youth Burrito Sundays: On the third Sunday of each month, Trinity Youth serve their famous breakfast burritos in Trinity Café (Level 3), from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., to raise funds for summer mission trips. There is no charge for breakfast, but all donations are gratefully accepted and help make the mission trips possible. In April, instead of the Burrito Breakfast, the youth provide an Easter Pancake Breakfast on Easter Sunday morning.
Hang Time, our new Middle School-only youth group, will meet on the second and fourth Sundays from 12:15–1:45 p.m. in the Youth Room (116 & 117). We will play games, dig deeper into our faith, encourage one another, and have awesome group building time. Lunch will be provided. This is an hour just for you! Calendars are available in the Youth Room.
Senior High Sunday Nights is our Senior High youth group, which will meet on the second and fourth Sundays from 4:30–6:30 p.m. in different youth's homes for group building, deepening our spiritual journey, real discussions, and dinner together. A calendar of dates and directions to homes is available through Cami or Amanda.
