What it is:
DenUM inspires hope as an advocate and trusted provider of needed services. Every day at DenUM, families receive emergency services of food, rent, or utility assistance, and infant items to help with basic needs. Through job services, individuals find opportunities to move from dependency to self sufficiency. DenUM also focuses on education and advocacy to seek community transformation.
How you can help:
- Volunteer in the food pantry, job services, or working directly with clients
- Contribute food, infant items, or hygiene products
- Volunteer to host a fundraiser
The Trinity Connection:
Denver Urban Matters is the United Methodist's response to the plight of the urban poor, channeling resources from churches and individuals in Colorado. DenUM offers a full range of services and programs to homeless and near homeless individuals and families.
They are provided with case management; phone, voicemail, and computer access; uniforms; identification assistance; and transportation assistance.
DenUM's focus on education and advocacy seeks community transformation. DenUM depends on the community congregations, foundations, corporations, and individuals just like you.
