Each Wednesday evening will begin with a Trinity Family Dinner

A delicious, nutritious meal prepared by our neighbors, the Culinary Arts students at the Emily Griffith Technical College, will be available at a family-friendly price of just $6 per person (non-refundable). Dinner will be served in Fellowship Hall from 5:15–6:30 p.m.

Advanced reservations are required by noon the previous Thursday. So, for example, reservation and payment is due by 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 5 for the Wednesday, January 11 meal. Reservations may be made on Wednesday nights or by calling the church office (credit card payment only) at 303-839-1493.

Class Information

For Children:

Early Childhood Music Family Music Class (Birth–Age 5); 6:00–6:40 p.m.

Family Music is a 40-minute class designed for the entire family. Children of many different ages and their caregivers will explore music through singing, dancing, playing simple instruments and exploring movement. The activities are chosen to meet children's developmental needs, to hold the children's interest in the group setting and to bring families together. Tuition is $170 per child for a 15-week semester. A 15 percent sibling discount is applied when enrolling more than one child in the same family. Need-based scholarships are also available. Children's Chimes (Age 4–Grade 2); 5:30–6:00 p.m.

With this fun introduction to hand chimes, the focus for children will be on counting, ringing techniques and learning to read music. Children's Chimes will play in worship a couple of times during the year.

Genesis Ringers Children's Bell Choir (Grades 3–5); 5:30–6:00 p.m.

This is a warm and welcoming introductory handbells ensemble for children who experience melody, rhythm and the joy of working and playing together through their music. Genesis Ringers play for worship several times throughout the year.

Joyful Voices Junior Children's Choir (Grades K–1); 6:00–6:30 p.m.

Joyful Voices Jr. is a preparatory choir and music class for children in Kindergarten and first grade. Participants will sing, play simple instruments, learn basic music literacy and ear training skills, and enjoy movement activities in a fun and welcoming environment. Joyful Voices Jr. singers will have the opportunity to develop performance skills as they sing in worship and other special music events at Trinity.

Join us in community and learning, outstanding performance opportunities, collaborations with Youth Choir, extensive and fun vocal training and music literacy by being part of the first children's choir at Trinity to kick off the exciting and highly-acclaimed Voice for Life learning adventure. Have great fun finding out what you can do — and what we can do together — in singing as we serve God and our congregation! We are excited about creating a real choir experience with consistent attendance and growth.

For Youth:

If you are a youth in grades 6 through 12, then YOU belong in YOUth Choir! We are a group of singers of all ability levels committed to celebrating our faith through music, providing leadership in worship, developing strong friendships and growing our musical talents. We sing once a month for worship and have also attended choral festivals, served in outreach, and taken part in special concerts at Trinity, as well as sang the National Anthem with the Chancel Choir at Colorado Rockies games. Join this growing, talented group of young people!

Youth Bells (Grades 6–12); 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Youth Bells has fun and fellowship while working on challenging music to play in Sunday morning worship services and other opportunities that come about during the year. Ringing experience is not necessary, but being able to read music is helpful.

For Adults:

Chancel Choir; 7:00–9:00 p.m.

The Chancel Choir sings for the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday mornings, as well as provides special musical performances throughout the year. All are warmly welcomed to join this special community!

Men's Choir; 5:45–6:45 p.m. (select Wednesdays only)

The choir sings for the 8:15 a.m. worship service the first Sunday of the month. This community of men is an exciting place to belong, to pray and to sing.

Contemplative Spirituality; 7:00–8:30 p.m.

You will find a quiet space where you can deepen your contemplative practice or learn for the first time what contemplative spirituality is and the impact it can have on your life. We will practice Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina and other prayer practices, explore mandalas and reflect on the teachings of the ancient and present-day mystics. Please come as you are. All are welcome.

Lay-Led Worship Service: Liturgy: Work of the People; 6:00–6:50 p.m.

We are looking forward to creating a worship experience that is intergenerational, dynamic and inclusive. This service offers the prospect of involving Trinity's children's and youth vocal and bell choirs through music offerings during the year. Trinity SOS (Save Our Slaves): February 8 is International Day of Prayer and Awareness of Human Trafficking. We will hold a special ceremony in the Heritage Room to honor the day.

Holy Conversations on Hot Topics, 7:00–8:00 p.m. (during February)
Whether left or right, conservative or liberal, progressive or independent, join our Holy Conversations! Led by Rev. Linda Marshall, Trinity member Don Gardner adn Pastor Tom Owens, this forum is designed to provide a safe and open space for conversation, listening to each other, discovering our common concerns, expressing our beliefs as Christians and planning ways to move forward into the future as a people of faith.
