Denver’s Approach to Affordable Housing.
Denver’s City Council members recently spent nearly seven hours on a Friday exploring homelessness and housing issues with officials from the city’s housing department, other city staff and nonprofit representatives. It was the first such retreat to focus on homelessness since 2015. The experience and information gained are meant to inform future policy discussions. Come gather with others from Trinity and hear Robin Kniech, Council Woman at Large speak on Denver’s approach to housing, including the spectrum from shelter to supportive housing for neighbors experiencing homelessness.
We will meet at 6pm in Stiles Chapel, come a few minutes early to connect! Free garage parking beginning at 5pm, bring your ticket for validation and garage re-entry. For more information contact Deb Meyer.
