Trinity Goes to the Rockies

Location: 2001 Blake St, Denver, CO 80205
Time: 1:10 PM

"Take me out to the ballgame!" Trinity is heading to Coors Field on September 30 to see the Rockies play the Washington Nationals. We are excited to gather as a group to support the Chancel and Youth Choirs, who will sing the national anthem at this game!

Serve Lunch with CHCS

Location: Trinity United Methodist Church, 1820 Broadway
Time: 11:30 AM

Did you know the weekly lunch program hosted at Trinity is run by a Denver organization founded in 1984? Capitol Hill Community Services (CHCS) began helping the homeless have a hot meal one day a week. Since then, they have expanded their mission and serve a hot meal 5 days a week at 3 different locations.

Trinity will serve lunch with CHCS on October 4 from 11:30am-1:00pm. 12 volunteers are needed! If you can help, sign up with the Church Office.

Fall Women's Retreat

Location: 2515 Tunnel Rd, Estes Park, CO 80511

The 2018 Fall Women's Retreat is October 5-7 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. Rev. Kerry Greenhill, our guest speaker, will lead us in exploring the ways Jesus embodies and offers others an experience of Holy Wholeness in the gospels. We will consider wholeness as healing, integration, inclusiveness, and completeness, both in the Bible and in our own lives. Wherever you are on the spiritual journey, you are invited to come and connect with God and with each other in life-giving ways. Learn more here! The deadline to register is September 23.

Music & Arts Sunday

The maxim of Trinity’s Music & Arts Ministry is Soli Deo Gloria (To God Alone Be the Glory). The members of our ministry will dedicate their work for the upcoming season to the glory of God during worship on Sunday, October 14. As part of the celebration, you will hear music performed by several of our talented music groups. We invite you to be in prayer with us as we begin our work to use our gifts and talents in service to God and to Trinity this season.

Domestic Violence Awareness Luncheon

Location: Trinity United Methodist Church, 1820 Broadway

Do you know how to respond if a friend confides that she is a victim of domestic violence – what to say or what not to say? Mark your calendar for October 14 and plan to stay after church to learn more about this problem. UMW is planning a baked potato bar luncheon. Our guest speaker and presenter, Angela McMahan, is President and CEO of Arising Hope International, a Christ-Centered domestic violence shelter in Denver, CO.
