Rooted: Faith in Many Voices

Come join us for Rooted: Faith in Many Voices, a celebration of musical diversity in expressing faith. This concert will celebrate non-"traditional" worship music—exploring different genres that have made it into religious, spiritual, and contemplative spaces—as well as highlight the diverse roots of the music that we already know and love. Rooted appropriately falls on Pentecost Sunday, when Christians commemorate the Holy Spirit blowing as a mighty wind onto Christ's disciples, allowing them to go out into the world and speak in different languages.

Featured soloists are Denver multigenre vocalists Chloe Scull, Rajdulari, Jacob Wooden, and Jerome Síbulo. The afternoon will culminate in a performance of The World Beloved: A Bluegrass Mass, with Trinity UMC's Chancel Choir, Washington Park UMC's choir, and a bluegrass ensemble directed by Taylor Gonzales.

Rooted exemplifies how there are many musical languages in the world that can be rooted in the same universal message of love. Come join us for this afternoon of music, where there's something for everyone to connect to.

It delivers the message of love and inclusion for everyone that Trinity is trying to bring into the world. We are asking you to help support this concert—and similar concerts in the future—by making a donation to help cover the expenses of the concert.

• Any donation amount can be dedicated in honor or in memory of loved ones, and will be printed on the concert program.
• In addition to that, donations of $500-$999 entitle you to two (2) complimentary tickets.
• Donations of $1000 or more come with four (4) complimentary tickets to the concert.
