Organ Concert with Norman Sutphin

In partnership with the American Guild of Organists, Norman Sutphin presents an organ concert in Trinity’s historic sanctuary on the 1888 Roosevelt Organ. This event will kick-off the AGO Regional Convention. Enjoy an entertaining program of symphonic transcriptions and early 20th-century masterworks will pull out all the stops. The concert will feature music by Lemare, Flagler, Thiele, D’Antalffy, Gershwin and Rossini.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Recently the meal boasted an attendance of 50 people – word is getting out! The Wednesday Night Meal is offered every week unless otherwise announced, and reservations are not required. Choristers Guild 61st Annual Children and Youth Choral Festival

You are invited to the Choristers Guild Children and Youth Worship Service on Saturday, February 23 at 3:00pm. During this service, you will hear music from the children and youth participating in the festival, as well as a homily from Pastor Ken Brown and accompaniment from Trinity's Organist, Norman Sutphin.

Trinity is glad to be hosting the Choristers Guild's 61st Annual Children and Youth Choral Festival on the same day from 9:00am-3:00pm. This year's Guest Clinician is Tesfa Wondemagegnehu of St. Olaf College. Tesfa says:

Habitat Denver Soup Cook-Off

Make soup, do good! Where else can showing off your culinary soup creation change a life? Sign up with Nancy Green to bring soup, stew, chili or chowder to the annual Habitat for Humanity Soup Dinner Cook-Off on Saturday, February 23 from 6:30-9:00pm and help raise funds for a new home build this spring with our local partner! Show up and eat soup too. Tickets are $15 per person or $35 for a family.

Scout Sunday

Girl and Boy Scouts are invited to wear their uniforms to church on this special Sunday. Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in kindergarten through fifth grade will have a special Sunday School class during the 9:30am Sunday School hour to tie their Scouting experiences into the Christian faith. Scouts who attend this class will also receive a Scout Sunday patch. All children are invited to learn about how prayer can be put into action with a service project during the 11:00am Sunday School hour. For registration information, contact Allison Watkins.

After a 20 year career on Wall Street, Bill ventured into entrepreneurship as a restaurant owner in downtown Denver. Called out of retirement, he works at Project Angel Heart and volunteers as Hospitality Coordinator of Trinity Café on Sunday mornings. He’s usually cooking up something tasty for some group! The Early Response Team (ERT) will be holding their very popular benefit breakfast on Sunday, March 3 from 8:00am-12:30pm. The menu will be scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit salad, oatmeal, muffins, hot chocolate and coffee. Proceeds will help support the ERT's disaster relief work.

Documentary Screening: Traces of the Trade

The purpose of these writing workshops is to gather the writers in our community to share their writing experiences and help writers of all skill levels develop their writing abilities and talent through small group interactions.
