Make Christmas Merry and Bright for Olin Hotel Residents!

Community Service Opportunity:

For three decades Trinity UMC has provided a special Christmas Party for our Olin Hotel Apartment neighbors. Located at 1420 Logan St., the Olin Hotel is home to low-income, differently abled adults. Each year we plan a special event for them at Christmas. This year 15 Trinity members have cross-stitched more than 100 Holiday Ornaments. You can see them on display at the Giving Tree in the sanctuary. We are also providing each resident with a King Soopers gift card. This card helps residents with their food needs!

We are holding a party for the Olin residents on Saturday, December 21 from 3PM to 4:30 PM. There will be holiday singing, entertainment from Trinity’s children, youth, and adults, as well as custom-made ice cream sundaes!

Here’s how you can help:
Decorate the community room – 1pm
Set up the Ice Cream Station – 2pm
Decorate the Christmas Trees with handmade ornaments provided – 2pm
Greet Residents and host the party – 3pm
Provide a talent for entertainment – Musical, dramatic reading or other – 3pm
Clean up following the party – 4:30-5pm
